Kuvaus Peogeot 208 on ranskalaisvalmitajan viimeisin supernäppärä miniauto ja 207 mallin seuraaja. Auto tuli markkinoille vuonna 2012 ja valloitti saman tien yleisön Genovan automessuilla. Mallissa yhdistyy futuristinen muotoilu ja aerodynaaminen tehokkuus. Ilman vastusta alentavan muotilun lisäksi Peogeot 208:ssa on kevytrunkoinen PF1 kori, joka tekee siitä 120kg keveämmän kuin sen edeltäjä 207. Kuten olettaa saattaa, tämä ratkaisu on alentanut 208 polttoaineen kulutusta merkittävästi. Moottorit ovat myös niukkaruokaisia, erityisesti kolmesylenteriset mallit, jotka lähtevät 1.0 ja 1.2 litrasta. Molemmat näistä pitävät sisällään VTi ajoittimen, joka alentaa 1.0 litraisen kulutuksen alle neljään litraan satasella. Perinteinen 1.4 litrainen on valikoiman outolintu, mutta 1.6 litran GTi:sta löytyy 197hevosvoiman turbo, joka lisää valikoiman luonnetta. 208 sisustus on loistava esimerkki nykyaikaista muotoilua, joka varustelujen ohella tuo malliin tyylikkyyden tuntua. Tuulilasin avara muotoilu lisää näkyvyyttä ja näyttää hyvältä, mutta muuten ajoergonomia jättää toivomisen varaa. Varustelutasot on nimetty Access, Access+, Active ja XY. Jostain syystä XY on annettu viisiovisessa mallissa nimeksi Feline. Varusteluista löytyy muunmuassa ilmastointi, ohjaustehostin, sähköikkunat ja nahkaverhoilu. Jos mahdollista, kannattaa välttää Access –mallia, sillä siinä ei ole vakionopeudensäädintä eikä ilmastointia. Tätä on vaikea hyväksyä näin uuden auton ollessa kyseessä.

Peogeot 208 tarjoaa vakuuttavan esityksen ulkoisen muotoilun ja taloudellisuuden suhteen, mutta siihen se sitten jääkin. Pienten autojen luokassa kilpailu on kovaa, ja 208 avut eivät pärjää kilpailijoille, kuten Ford Fiesta or VW up! .
